Toy trains have been manufactured for more than 100 years, and have been treasured by children for just as long. Indeed, many toy trains have been so loved by children and grown-ups alike that they have become real treasures, whether for sentimental value or for their value as collectibles. We at Toy Train Treasures have maintained our love of toy trains, as well as our appreciation for them as toys and as collectors items. We think you'll see that reflected in our choice of pieces in "The Toy Box Gallery"; some are old, some new, some are in their original condition, while others have been restored for the enjoyment their operation brings. The same approach holds true in "The Toy Shop Catalog", where the pieces we offer for sale are sometimes chosen more for their "fun factor" than for their collectible value.

Our personal collection tends toward trains that we can run more than trains for display, but we understand the true collector's need for originality and authenticity. Hence, we will always try to follow TCA (Train Collectors Association) grading standards to a fault in describing and representing our products for sale.
